Then choose your frames from our in-office selection and our on-site lens edger cuts your lenses right here — most patients walk out with new glasses the same day.

Most eye clinics send your lenses out to a lab — which means waiting a week or more. At Elite Eyecare, we have an in-office lens edger and keep around 600 prescription lenses in stock. That means we can cut your lenses on the spot for most common prescriptions. Same visit. Same day.

Can everyone get same day glasses? Same day availability applies to single vision polycarbonate lenses. We stock a wide range of sphere and cylinder powers, so most common prescriptions qualify. Not sure if yours does? Give us a call at (615) 249-4926 before your visit.
Do I need an appointment? We recommend scheduling an appointment to guarantee same-day availability, but give us a call at (615) 249-4926 and we'll do our best to get you in.
What if I already have a prescription? If you have a valid, current prescription, you may be able to skip the exam and go straight to frames. Call us to confirm.
Does insurance cover same day glasses? We accept most major vision insurance plans. Same day glasses are covered just like any other glasses order — the difference is just the turnaround time.
How long does it actually take? Most patients are in and out in 1-2 hours including the exam, frame selection, and lens cutting. Also, depends on how busy we are.
